Professional Set ups

Our setups are designed to ensure the instrument plays at its best, but if you have any specific needs, the instrument can be tailored to suit the player. Even, brand-new instruments often need setting up to play at their best.

You can expect your guitar to be returned clean and playing great as the truss rod, nut, action and intonation will all be adjusted, as well as any electronics serviced.  Our professional set-up and service use an extremely precise, Peterson 490 strobe tuner to get the best possible intonation,  your instrument will sound perfectly in tune all the way up the neck. We are one of the few workshops in the U.K. to use a professional tuner on our setups.

 

The guitar will also be checked for any loose parts such as the jack sockets or strap pins and tightened where possible.
